My passions have always revolved around food and the kitchen. I love to explore beautiful ingredients, learn techniques from simple to complicated and create something beautiful to be shared with friends and family.\u00a0<\/p>

I’ve been chasing this exploration in my personal and professional life for over 20 years.\u00a0 As a kitchen designer through my firm\u00a0Nicole Hough Designs<\/a>\u00a0I’ve dedicated my career to making spaces where people can gather, cook and share.<\/p>

Along the way I’ve created other ventures to do the same – Happy Maggie Foods was the first of these – an allergy free venture where I created holiday meals and treats for those with severe food allergies. Kitchen Cavalry was my first foray into teaching cooking online – which eventually became the Coco Hough “real cooking at home” pandemic livestream series. I also share my love of alcohol-free beverages as well as the beauty I’ve found in an alcohol-free life at\u00a0AFTER Magazine<\/a>\u00a0(please take a look, we’d love to have you there too!)<\/p>

I’ve been fortunate both my design and cooking work recognized over the years. Specifically:\u00a0<\/p>

– Named one of the top designers to watch under 40 by New York Spaces Magazine<\/p>

– Kitchen published in House Beautiful Magazine<\/p>

– Named on of the Greenest Housewives of NJ by Bergen Health and Life Magazine.\u00a0<\/p>

With all of this I feel like I’m just getting started.\u00a0 Coco Hough, and now Coco Sweet and Sour, are a small but mighty part of what I do.\u00a0 I love sharing real food, made by real people with you.\u00a0 With a few simple tricks under your belt, I promise it’s not hard and it doesn’t have to be perfect.\u00a0 I hope you’ll join me in the kitchen.\u00a0<\/p>

Coco (n\u00e9e Nicole Pietrandrea) holds an MBA from the University of Chicago\u2019s Booth School of Business, a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Bucknell University and a bartending certificate from the New York Bartending School. She studied as an exchange student at the Universit\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ois Rabelais in Tours, France, speaks (almost) conversational French and Italian. She loves exploring new places as well as spending time at home with her two almost-grown children and their dog Sadie.<\/span><\/p>\n
